Get it done at the Dealer

I paid $600 parts and labor at the dealership. Even replaced the lower central partition to which the upper central is attached. In total Four parts. Also the top cover over the micro filter housing .

Parts # for Microfilter housing cover : 64316945583 - 84

Parts # for engine partitions : 51757171791 - 92 ; 51717169419 -20

Worth the money spent as these are OEM with superior material made of glass reinforced rubber.

Chinese parts on Ebay are cheap plastics which will melt very soon.

I replaced mine over a year ago and they're still going strong?

I just replaced mine with the chinese ones and the heat here is crazy, 125f with high humidity so we'll see how they hold up.

I've absolutely roasted mine, as I don't have any blankets on my turbos, nor shields on the catless DP.

Get your DPs wrapped and get a Turbo blanket and then use gold tape on the panels.

I've since wrapped the DP and made a shield that covers both turbos. I'm not really a fan of blankets.

Gold tape went on when I first installed the partitions (see page one).

They're so superior, yet they're needing to be replaced left and right...hmm.

OEM partitions have been upgraded, apparently as told by the dealer. They lasted average 5-7 years. Chinese partitions might last much less. We shall see from the feedback from the posters.

eBay copies cost less than USD50.

Even if you change them out every year (which I haven't had to), you'll still get 12 years worth of partitions for the same price as OEM.

Great for the OEM finally fixing (we shall also see) a poorly made yet overpriced product. Until then don't justify your $600 purchase with misinformation vs others who've spent 1/12th that. The "you get you pay for" mantra needs to die since just about everything comes from China nowadays.
- Typed from my brand name phone that was made in China, while driving a notoriously expensive brand name vehicle made in Germany and America, yet is equally notorious for being unreliable and expensive to maintain.

Agreed with these guys, I ordered another Chinese set just so I can wrap the F out of it with heat reflective tape lol

Just to keep the pot stirring

Please don't create a fire hazard in the engine bay. Not worth saving a few hundred bucks

PS :

Besides incinerating our loved ones, the Insurance company won't pay up if they find dubious mods in the engine bay.

Just my 2 cents.
