Before I changed them she had no idea what I was talking about when I was cussing at the tires.

Now, she said night and day. She has the limit gong set for 85 Miles and she says she hits it all the time since everything is so quit and the X grips now like a sports car. Everything is smoother now.

X owners: Get rid of your RFT's and especially of your Bridgestone Duelers!!!!

Best mod ever. I had a Red Bull fridge in my garage but my garage is detached, so it would have to work OVERTIME in the summer to keep my drinks cold. Sold it, and now I just walk into the house to grab a Pellegrino...

CREE LED Angel eyes:

I tried the cheap eBay solution.
Great mod for small money. I'm happy with the purchase!

Painted, fender flares installed:
Thank you WMB E70! They look perfect!!

Was a PITA to get the rivets in without the machine. I used a metal rivet machine but this thing clogged up all the time. This pics were done without the rivets since I was done when it was already dark outside.

I might got some wheels for sale shortly.

Just purchased a set OEM style 128 in 21" in silver (finally not chrome crap).

Well, I did a bubu.

I wanted style 128 wheels on the X5 since we bought it. Settled with new 214's and tires.

Now I found a set 128 and bought them right away without talking to my wife. Well, she prefers the 214 style.

Should I sell them again?

This are OEM Style 128 with TPMS.
21 X 10 with 285/35R21, Offset 40, 18,80 Kg weight
21 X 11,5 with 325/30R21, Offset 42, 20,20 Kg weight

They are in a decent shape.

First one is the front left what has a scratch on the rim and the paint on one spoke is scratched.

Passenger front has a curb scratch on the edge too.

The others are in good shape. Small scratches due to wear.

Installed the JBD chip tuner set to 100% last week.
The install took not even 5 minutes.

Well my first impression was the thing is broken since I was not able to feel a difference.

However, I drove 120 miles yesterday.

My guess is that the ECU had to adjust to the new chip tuner since now I can feel a massive torque difference and the M57 is now way more powerful in high revs.

Unbelievable how this 5k pound car, wind resistance of a single family home and a 3l I6 Diesel goes forward.

Diesel owners, that is the mod to get.

Not yet.. I'm waiting for the 15mm spacers to come available.. The 25mm in the rear look really good.

However I'm too lazy to do that twice.. When I have the spacers, that is jacking the car up once.

Now I do.

I love the concave the 128's have.
The perfect size and design for the e70 IMO.

However I finally got my 15mm spacers for the front but they shipped the wrong width bolts.

The pics are with 25mm spacers rear and no spacers in the front.

Put them on Friday night.

The sad part is that my wife, the primary driver, thinks that 21" are too "show off"

I think they are great looking wheels! They just stick out too much in the back, which is especially accentuated with the fact you don't have the M Sport fender flares and the M Sport rear bumper. If you would have those, some more of the rubber would be "covered" if you know what I mean...

Did I mention that I love the JBD?

Have it cranked to 100% with no problems. The instructions say 70 whp more and you really can feel that.
I'm stunned how a 5k lbs Diesel car can pull without an M badge!

When you look from the top, the flares are flush with the wheels.
I actually like that you can see the tire from behind.

This could might be the reason my wife says now the car looks now like a (german) "Prollkarre".
