Seeking Advise on Wheels Style 298M

Hi Guys,

Hope all is going well... So I have managed my 1st week of being an X5 owners and am pretty happy.

I have searched here quickly and found a few posts but not an answer...

So I have stumbled across a set of BMW Style 298M's Winter Wheels (19"s) on an auction site and wanted to Ask - Will these fit my X5 E70 30d xDrive - prod date 06.2010 With Factory Fitted M-Sport Body Kit ?

Or are these 298M's only fo the M full blown mother X5 / X6 ?

My Car was being sold with 20" M styled 333's but it drove like a snake...
So I had them swap off another car to the M 223's for the Summer Wheels

I was given a set of used BMW Winter Wheels 18" Style 209 which I do not like the look of, plus they are only good tyre wise for one season.

Thanks in-advance.
Ben

You don't like the 333s? A lot of people agree those are the best looking OEM wheels for the X5. Perhaps they are out of round, or need to be re-balanced. I'd go that route first before investing more money into new wheels. At least make the BMW dealership get the wheels right!

But if you really want the 298M wheels, keep in mind the center bore is 74mm in the front and 72.4mm in the rear. The E70 X5 has 74.1mm center bores.

Hi P1et, thanks for the reply. I liked the look of the 333's but it's too late as I have swapped them already for the 223's... I think it was more down to the Width of the 333's and how it drove as with the 223's it is fine.

So the 298M's are not a straight fit. Oh well. Shame. Thanks again.
