OEM X5M Style 299 wheels for Sale
I have a set of OEM Style 299 wheels for sale. Fronts are 20x10 and rears are 20x11. They have been professional powder coated black. They are wrapped in Continental DWS Extreme tires. 275/40 in the front and 315/35 in the rear. Tires are in good condition. Wheels do not have any major curb rash but there are small nicks if you look really closely. Only 6k miles on tires. TPMS included. Wheels have been off the car for about a month and covered and stored in my garage since. I only have 2 pictures with the wheels on the car unfortunately. I took a bunch of pictures of the wheels yesterday after I cleaned them up a bit. The order of the pics are front, front, rear, rear. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics. I'm looking for $2000 for the set. Prefer local pick up. I'm in southern California, but will ship at buyers expense. PM me if you are interested. Last edited by MikesX5m; 03-05-2015 at 05:11 PM.. I recently shipped my 336s (no tires, just wheels) fully packed in boxes measuring 24x24x12 and weighing about 58lbs each. I expect the 299s won't be different. You can estimate shipping on UPS or FedEx.com using these numbers.
Tires would be another 35lbs (unmounted - again from recent shipping experience) - I guess it would be prohibitively expensive to ship tires mounted on wheels, as the weight of each package would exceed 70lbs, so shipping them separately would be cost effective. I'd wager that you're looking at at least $75 per wheel +tire (just a guess, based on my recent experience). HTH. |

For anyone else wondering how much it would cost to ship, I'm from 92835 and here's the link to UPS site: https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request?...WT.svl=PNRO_L1 Sorry to those I promised to post pics today. I've been swamped and wanted to clean wheels before posting on site. I'll try to have them up this week. Thanks. |

There are absolutely no cracks or chipping on the powder coated wheels. Powder coating is a paint process that helps prevent those kind of mishaps. |

Hi Rob,
Sorry for late reply. Yes they are still available. Weather forecasts over the weekend were for rain so I never had a chance to wash and take pictures of the wheels. I'm going to try to get them cleaned up this week. Thanks, Mike |

I'm sorry but I have no idea. Are there any threads of other guys putting similar size wheels on your version? Do you have the m kit? I actually have spacers on my front (25mm) and rears (30mm) because I didn't think the wheels were pushed far enough out and could have even gotten bigger spacers.

Are your spacers also for sale, please? I am getting a new set of 19" X6's style 232 wheels for my E70 X5. Any recommendation will be appreciated. Regards. |

I thought they would have been with the new HRE 940RL I put on, but the spacers still fit even with the wider rears.

Thanks for the tip. It seems more and more like I'm going to need to ship them. I also saw ShipNex ships for half the cost of UPS. They quote on their site $150 to ship to Washington whereas UPS wanted $300 and I think they may ultimately be using UPS trucks but have a better freight rate? I don't know, I'm pretty new to shipping large items.
