My average so far have been 13-14 mpg. But it only have 600 miles on it, so not very accurate reflection of what it should be.

Just finished road trip; clocked about 850 miles; 18.6 mpg. This includes about 2-hours worth of LA bumper to bumper traffic with truck loaded with luggage.

Gas mileage is irrelevant when you decide to buy an SUV, especially X5M with twin-turbo 4.4L engine. Just enjoy the exhaust notes and the raw power of that monster.

I look at it this way in my opinion, if you have the money for that kind of a car, then you surely have the money for the gas as well |

Makes me appreciate the 37mpg (366 miles on 9.5 gallons. And thats mostly highway cruising at 85mph+) I just got on my second tank in my X5d.
The fedex exhuast note does annoy me though, and make me envy you E70M guys.
