My 13k lb 1200hp dually gets 24mpg on the highway cruising at 80mph with 10psi of boost..... My 2014 X6M...... 10-14mpg if I keep around 70mph which in Houston will get you killed! Funny thing here in Texas, for inspection test we emission test gas, but not diesel which are safety only. |

But the many organisations including the actual department that found out about VW's cheating confirmed the US Diesel BMWs with a clean bill of health?
Is someone ambulance chasing?

this has to be BS. I owned a 335d, and I could put my face next to the exhaust and smell nothing ( did it a bunch of times to show ppl). Also ultimately the massive amount of US emissions equiptment is what caused my 335d to be terribly unreliable. How can they be cheating with DPF, SCR, EGR, ETC ETC killing the reliability of an otherwise bullet proof platform?

My understanding is that BMW passed when tested by the group at WVA. It'll be a sad day if I find a settlement check in the mail.

Somebody thinks the Diesel issues that have happened in Europe i.e. Wrong software also applies to the Diesels in North America. It doesn't.
The only engines affected are non-American market Tri-Turbo versions in which some media you think that have been publically called out for "fake news" would actually do some research and not virtue signal.
