It finally arrived! :)

So, I finally picked up my 2012 X6 50i yesterday morning, after about a 3 month wait. I get to drive it a little further this weekend, which I'm really looking forward to.

Some first thoughts comparing it to my 2009 X6 35i:

PROS
- This thing is a *rocket ship* - it has incredible pickup
- The sound is amazing, awesome low rumbling growl at start, muscle car roar when you gun it
- They've tidied up a few things, like the little needle that follows the cruise setting now changes from red (not set, but can resume) to green (set) rather than my old one which was just greyish
- New iDrive is so much better. Faster, voice control works, POI search is useful
- Backup camera and top view fast, high quality, and remarkably useful
- HUD very cool
- Residual and MF went down again for July - my new payment is exactly the same as my old one, and I've spent about $18k more on the car
- I love the new 50i rims

CONS
- Side view cameras are utterly pointless
- HUD, while awesome, doesn't work with my favourite (polarized) sunglasses
- I've done 90 miles and used half a tank of gas
- Doesn't feel quite as sure-footed as my old one. I've got adaptive again, but this may be because I've been driving my M3 for 12 weeks whilst waiting...
- Premium sound is better, but not much

All in all, very happy!

i dont want to be sounds cocky, but in NYC i have no idea what i would do with out a voice control!!
