What To Do
Question:
When my dealer was trying to get me a 2012 X5d he found one and we did paper work. Then two days later that car had been promised to another dealer and he found another one exactly the same (his words) now in production. (When he sent me the build sheet with VIN I found it had different wood trim, Dark Walnut instead of dark Bamboo which was ok by me) When we went through the dealer book on the first X5 I wanted to check off with him exactly the options on this replacement duplicate. He checked off the 210 standard wheels but now I am finding out that the car has the 209 wheels which I really do not like. So now I am a little peeved. What would YOU do in this case as these dealers are standfast on the laurels of the Bimma's popularity and give nadda these days. Thanks. |

You should always be willing to walk away from a deal that isn't to your liking. At the end of the day, it's a car, they make new ones everyday. Have the dealer track down or order another one to your exact specs.

As usual, your dealer is bullshiting like all of them they really dont care what you like as long as they are selling a car. My advice is: Dont give up hold on to what you want. Good-luck.

Walk.
You need to get exactly what you want. It's your money.
