X6 Year-end Pricing in Canada

Can anyone provide details on 09 and 10 X6 50i in Toronto area with regard to pricing and finance rate? I have a 6000.00 discount and 3.9% on clearout 09 models. After reading about US purchasers receiving 8k and 10k discounts, am i right to question this? And how can i expect the 2010 models to price out thru the next 6 months? Is the M going to make the 50i less desirable, perhaps polarizing sales to the 35i and the M series?

IMHO the difference between the new 2010 50i with the 40HP upgrade available, a lot of people will go with the 50i, The M buys you about another 50hp and some handling characteristics and the uniqueness of "M". M's are targeted for a particular audience , always have been.

I agree normally, but for whatever reason, BMW Canada has priced the M versions very close to the 50i ($80k vs. $98k base prices, but loaded only $12-14k difference), and is not allowing the extra 40 hp as an option. The 09 has the old iDrive, other than that, it isn't a massive change. As for discounts, I am not sure, haven't tried to negotiate on the 09s.

Seems odd they wouldn't offer the HP upgrade option but then again most of us are bewildered at the way BMW offers options for different parts of the world for a car that is made in the same plant.
