I think the only difference is the ring now illuminated by white LED. You only need $120 USD to buy a LED bulb for this conversion. So no need to get a new set of headlight!

First time I've heard someone from Dubai saying they don't have enough money for something...

I'd go with an AERO kit if you want to improve the look.

racer1983: Save your money on the headlights; spend them towards the fenders and front bumper. As for the angel eyes, just get LUX or mTEC V2 from mTEC Lighting USA. Can't go wrong with either.

Is there a way to buy the OEM bulbs from BMW to get the EXACT look that the LCI X5s have?

You cannot just remove your old headlights and replace with the LCI headlights, from what I understand you will need to replace your FRM2 with a FRM3 module and have that coded. There is also one additional wire in the harness to the headlights that used for dimming the LEDs.

PM Sky Chicken, I think he attempted the retrofit.

What year did the "bright" blue rings come into play? I saw a 2011 LCI today and it did not have the "bright" blue rings. My dad's 2013, also an LCI of course, does have them.

Midway through the 2011 MY, they brought in the LED corona rings. I think there were a lot of pissed of early 2011 MY owners
