Can't Close Trunk on X6

So I just moved from my 2009 X6 to my 2012 X6 and I still can't close the trunk from the inside. For heaven's sake, every other manufacturer allows you to press the same button to toggle the function to either open or close the trunk. It's not a liability issue.

Anybody know if this can be coded?

It's for the safety so you won't chop some kid's fingers off.

But it will open while you are moving. So you have that going for you. Which is nice.

Anybody specific to recommend? I've seen posts for DVD in motion, etc. but nothing specific to this type of coding.
