The steel spare on non-M's is 155/90-18. Inside diameter doesn't matter, its the OD that needs to match.

Does it matter or not if the center bore/wheel hub diameters may not be the same? I was under the impression that the F82 has a 72.56mm wheel hub/center bore...whereas the e70/f15 X5s have the larger 74.1mm wheel hub/center bore?

If your F82 has a different center bore than whats listed on the chart below...please let me know:

Thanks for the info. It is stock so I assume its 72.5. While it will be nice to be the same this is spare tire. As long as I can get to place to repair I think it will be ok . Looks like X3 is match. Question is will the spare tire clear the F8X brakes?

X3 spare sizes are 135/90-17 (E83) and 165/70-18. ID on both wheels should be as stated above, you'll have to use a tire & wheel calculator to see if the OD is acceptable.

It seems X3 spare is out of question as 17" likely wont clear brakes. OD is acceptable 165/70-18 is 647mm 25.5" 255/35/19 is 661mm 26"
