mc gaurd locks are the worst. Bmw used to have spline ones that were great, 10 yrs 5-6 bmws and never an issue. I just ordered a factory set for my e70 and they are factory bmw but def made by mcguard....Ill most likely swap them out at some point.

What makes the mcgaurd's so bad? I guess I do not live in a bad enough area, I do not see a prevailing need for wheel locks. I will not remove them since they are already on the car, but I have never installed them on a vehicle before.

mc gaurd locks have a stupid flower design imprint and the key has the same imprint, unfortunately they are very easy to strip and most people do, making it a pain to get off.

I don't doubt or discount the accuracy of you saying the McGaurd locks are not good, but,

you must have to be some kind of special to strip one out, I mean in all the years before I was even good at mechanic'ing, when I was working in tire shops, I never once had that issue come up.
