N62 gap between valve covers and spark plug tubes

Hey everyone, I just finished the VCG job on my 4.8 x5.

I had issues getting the spark plug tubes to sit flush when reinstalling the valve covers and after various tries I just installed the valve covers anyway.

I read online that people just install it and the small gap between the valve cover and the spark plug tube should be no concern but I noticed a little oil on the spark plugs.

I figured maybe with time from the vibration of the motor it'll sit more flush (optimistic). I am really not sure how the tubes could have been made to perfectly press into the valve covers.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
