Rear Axle and Differential

So, I was driving home today on my X5 4.8i and I heard this metal noise coming from the transmission ****. The suv stop running and had to get it towed. After checking it this is what I found. The rear right axle is out, and the left side move, you can shake it. After watching this video on YouTube I believe my differential is gone..!!!

Have anyone here have this experience before?

OUCH! Can't add any relevant experience but that looks like bad news.
I'm in the KC region as well and interested if you have a local indy you like.

wow looks like the crankcase vent line is the least of your problems. I would look around for a used unit, put new fluid in it and stick it in

Yes, I'm going to check a few junk yard and get it, replace oil and bearings.
