Parking Sensors question

Is there any way to have the front & rear parking sensors working more than just when you put the car in reverse?

My last car (Volvo XC60 R-Design) had the parking sensors and would automatically activate/deactivate at parking speeds and would warn me if I were too close to an obstruction (garage door, car, etc).

I'd love to know if this is an item that can be coded or not possible.

Thanks.

You can code a longer delay once it's been activated by reversing or pushing the button and a higher speed tolerance before it goes off for the reverse or surround camera. The coding is for the camera: Disable Top Speed Restriction For Cameras

Both the front and rear sensors are activated after you put it in D from R.

Mine seem to deactivate after going from R to D and driving anywhere. Is this a coding issue or is it set up to shut off after a certain time?

I think the PDC function turns off when you exceed "parking" speed. Try experimenting.
