Taken off my 2011 X5 E70, I installed a Curt trailer hitch which requires removal of the inner steel bumper reinforcement beam. This is the one hidden beneath the plastic bumper cover, with the tow hook female threaded receptacles.

Like new. Retails new for $447, I checked yesterday with Momentum BMW parts counter in Houston. My price is 50% off, $225.

Prefer to NOT ship as it is bulky. If somebody not local to Austin or Houston (I live in Austin, travel to Houston frequently) wants it, actually shipping costs apply. Otherwise, the part is currently in my garage in Austin TX, but I can bring it to Houston if needed.

I think you should keep it. You might want to return the car to stock one day.

I hear ya, but I don't foresee ever removing the trailer hitch I installed. I'd rather just make room in my garage! Any takers?
