Posting for a friend here who owns a 2011 X6 M with the S63 of course. (CPO 40,000kms bought from BMW dealer)

Say's that for a 550+ hp SUV, he's not impressed with the performance and I find this this quite surprising.

No check engine light at the moment or noting indicating that the car has any issues. Car is not in limp mode too.

Any of you guys have had a sudden or gradual loss of power with your M ? Either X5 or X6 M...

Could be injectors, mine were replaced and the car felt like it gained 150hp's.....

And TUNE, simple tune. I'd suggest Omar from Velos, good stuff. Doesnt cost much. But after that - it is feels like 550 hp car.

hey have you found out what the issue was? mine is having similar issue too, have you scanned the car already? my last scanned detects that the turbocharger auxiliary coolant pump was not working well, and replaced it, also you can download an iphone app called dynolicious fusion, it marks what times you do from 0-60mph, 1/4mile... etc, you can share your results here

Try replacing injectors, spark plugs and turbo cooler. Mine were replaced under extended warranty (Bill for these items would have been $8,000) and all 17 modules had software replaced giving me 10% gas mileage improvement and major increase in power. Hesitation at initial acceleration was fixed too.

Love this car!!!

just picked up mine 3 days ago. 2010 with 7k miles however it has worse gas mileage than my c63 with a kleenman k3 upgrade. is this normal?

Highway mileage (@ 80MPH sustained) is nearly 22 MPG. Overall is 17 MPG.
