key programming guide

Hey guys,

I need to get a second key, MY e70 does not have the comfort access, so i was wondering is it possible for me to get a blank key and somehow program this my self.

It seems like some people have done it, but i keep finding multiple articles, and nothing that says its specific to the 2007 e70.

If someone could link me to a 2007 e70 specific instructions that would help me out greatly.

I programmed a 2nd key/FOB for my 09 X5 a little over a month ago. Got the replacement key straight from the dealer. Don't buy one from ebay or such b/c our key comes pre-programmed with your specific VIN. My 09 didn't have the comfort access feature. So all I had to do to program the 2nd key/FOB was insert it into the slot and push the start button.
