Not that it helps, but I just picked up a set on Craigslist from a local seller for $25. They whistle like crazy over 45 mph. Interestingly, the whistling stops when the sunroof is open.

Haha definitely doesn't help. Mine don't whistle that much, so I guess that's why yours were $25.

I had a set installed on mine, and absolutely quiet, even at highway speeds. Your's must've been defective
