checked box= beep
unchecked= no beep
So if both boxes are checked , u should have Beep Beep from locking @ the door handle or fr. the key fob.

Shaken, not stirred!
Yes with all the electronics bells, whistles & tv screens it gives no immediate warning of left open hoods, fuel filler cap door, or rear hatch.
Only as smart as the programmer.

I am sorry Archie!! I feel obliged to mention that my Boomerang security system notifies me via SMS if I left: the door/hood open, the car key inside (You should be crazy to do that or intoxicated , ,but u never know) and more stuff like this. I don't leave the damn door open,or the hood, but you never know when dead tired from a long trip, you just do that. . .your last power is focused on hitting the bed.

I am not saying that the Boomerang is solving all problems. .But if you are in doubt, or dead tired, and the car is not next to your window, and you want to check it without getting off the bed, and dressing up and looking for car keys in the darkness of the room, and giving explanations to wife/girlfriend why you need to go out in the cold to check the car.. ."OMG, he is so clueless". . where is that second shoe, God Damn it!!!. . "honey, if you go to the car anyway, bring me that bag" .yeah, sure. . . you can just check from the bed, by sending an sms to the car. . car will answer back, in less than a minute. .if you got proper cel signal in that area. Doors/hood locked/unlocked. Key off. .Alarm on. . .I don't know about you guys, but if someone wakes me up from a sweet sleep, and ask me to go out to check anything,, , . believe me, rather than getting that, ask me to chop wood, during daytime.

Check ur manual. North Am. version has it.
May be Euro. have sound law issues, so no beep/acoustic confirnation. Must be in the software program. Do u not have securuty & motion alarm built in fr. factory?
