Careful with turns on paved roads in wintertime on all-weather tires!!
Mine came with Bridges RFT's. Did a not so tight turn on pavement, or how you call that crap made of small cubic granite stones that get some scum on them in winter time (even if no snow at all lately, but maybe fog condensation and the slurry they drop on the roads as anti-freeze, something with calcium cause road gets whiteish when dry) . .tipically old European roads, . .speed maybe 45 mph. . small camber ahead, went over it with mild acceleration, pulled a bit the steering wheel to the left, and the allmighty Panzer decided by itself to do a 3-foot slide!!!!!! Caught a bit by surprise, countersteered an inch or two, Panzer behaved and managed to keep cool away from the kerb. . . Have to admit that I never imagined that happening at such a low speed. . . . Huh.

Well, careful with the inertia of the big beast. .on slippery roads. . .on all-seasons tires.
PS: If I get a chance of some snow on the asphalt, I will test the X6 for some drifts in a parking lot. .will make a video of it. . .never saw a video about this. .maybe I should do one. |
