New X5 Owner (looking for mods to look and drive better)
Hey Guys I just got rid of my e46 m3 with 120k miles for a 2013 x5 xdrive35i black/black 50k miles on it and i have to say the X5 is amazing
Ive had a bunch of BMW's before but they are mostly 3 series and m3's so this is my first X5, and i love it its comfortable and practical for traveling. Some might say its a downgrade but i wanted something with warranty and something newer and an alot bigger. Already i bought a few things like black grilles, upgraded interior lights. One thing i was hoping people could help me out with is what mods are for this car? for all my other cars there are mods for days but i cant find to many for the x5. One thing i do want to do is put either an x5m front bumper and rear bumper and get an exhaust system and tune. Any help to mod my X5 would be appreciated. Thank You |

Downpipe and MHD. It will make your exhaust sound aftermarket. I posted a few videos on page 6 & 7.

I been reading up on that. Im tempted to buy the MHD but the BT stage 1 tune is alot cheaper and i always thought they made the same HP. im doing more research on that to see |

Congrats on the purchase.
X5 mod options are minimal, especially compared to an M3 where the skies the limit. Search the forum for X5M bumpers, a few people have done it, but keep in mind depending on your 35i trim you may be looking at more than bumpers to pull it off, namely fender flares and such. Exhaust options are really limited, but there's several tunes out there for the N55. Any pics to share? |

BT stage 1 is pretty minimal compared to a flash tune.

This forum is pretty slow, so you might try starting a new thread titled something about X5M bumper conversion to get some more traffic. There's several guys on this forum that have done it.
Yah, your X doesn't have the Sport or M Sport package so it doesn't have the wider fender flares, you'll need all of those for the bumpers to sync up with everything, almost positive on that. |
