Question re Megan Racing Exhaust

I know it's supposed to be a "weld on" exhaust, but will the exhaust go over the existing pipes and how much overlap is there? I'm thinking about just cutting off my muffler and claiming the Megan one on.

Weld it or you WILL have an exhaust leak

I'm getting better clamps from my buddy that works for Magnaflow, but is there enough overlap for me to use them?
