Tire wisdom: Anyone try these?

So I have decided to eliminate the runflats on my 2011 M. I have narrowed down the Summer tire search to Continental Extreme contact DW, (about $1065 delivered) and the Nitto NT555 G2 (about $910 delivered)

Ive seen some people have used the Conti's and recommend them. Anyone have experience with the Nitto's?

They have good reviews when being used on mustangs and muscle cars.

I'm about to pull the trigger but just wanted one last word before doing so.

Cheers!

I have 20" Conti EC DWS on my wife's 2016 Audi SQ5...
They are an awesome tire.

Very highly recommend them!

DWS and DW and DWS06 are not the same thing....

Dry Wet
Dry Wet Snow
DWS06 replaces the original DWS...

If you don't need snow/all-season capabilities, go for the DW, it's a great tire.

There is member of another board who is putting on the Nitto's next week. I'll post his impressions once he does.

Just put Conti DWS06 staggered on my 50i and it feels like it got in shape. Feels like it cut carbs, dropped 20lbs and got pull ups back. The steering lightened up a ton. Almost feels like a totally different rig. HAvent tried them on snow yet with the pass and ski resorts closed atm.

Lightened steering isn't an advantage IMHO. In fact, the steering feel is one of the reasons I'm keeping my hydraulic-steering BMW's.

I just replaced my DWS with the new DWS06. They are amazing. I live in Colorado so they see a lot of snow. I run Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Cayenne which are a great tire also, but I wouldn't put them on the M.
