upgraded intercoolers?!

Ive searched Xbimmers and, a few other sites and cant find any solid leads or facts as to upgraded intercoolers. I have a a few wants for my X6 35I 2014 N55,
while looking into tuning options via the MDH N55 the stage 1+ and stage 2 maps, having a upgraded intercooler is strongly suggested. However after hours of reading, searching, poking and prodding, I've come up with nothing, which to me says ill be dumping a sh*t ton of money into custom piping and custom installation. Now has any one found/heard of upgraded intercoolers for the X6?

My future mods I'm wanting to do is a Meisterschaft exhaust, possible decatted DP's,( requiring a tune for the lambda sensors) getting to a stage 2 tune, so you can see where im hitting a wall with sourcing parts, if it exhales better it has to breath cooler flow more. I already have a BMS intake. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated, trust me, I wouldn't ask with out doing my due diligence before posting.

Thanks !!

Well got a 2013 35 i running a k&n, cattles dp, new charge pipe and basically running strait pipes out the back with a new tune form mhd stage 2+ no upgrade on the fmic because the x6 already has a bigger one on from the factory. The only fmic i found was from vrsf and it runs I think about 500 or so.

Now thats what id like to do mod wise. You had to pull your comp for bench reflash correct? I did the vin check and found apparently it needs a bench flash as it is a 1726 which needs the DME removed, did your reflash and MHD take care of the engine light issue? Im still trying to navigate the maze of what to do first, i have my exhaust picked out, but still waning on to go catless as we have obd II inspections, so getting everything right to pass is a must

So I sent my ecu out to ssr performance in California to do the dme unlock they did a great job. Then flashed my ecu with a mhd stage 2+ map. Wow the thing moves you wont be disappointed at all. Vrsf got the cattles dp and new charge pipe great quality part oh vrsf sells a cel delte and seems to work very good. That's a must

I would say it well outrun a 50i no problem. My good friend is a bmw mechanic and hes driven the 50i and said it will beat it hands down. Should be putting down at least 400hp at the wheels from some of the dyno tests I seen on you tube
Hope this helps

Whats is the approximate cost for the reflash ?and witht the cel
Fix can that pass the obdII checks with the dirve cycles to clear the old codes or i thinks it a readiness check, but for so.e reason i hear a lot about the mdh and the jb4, and i could be getti g confused but i thought i had heard something about the fb4 being able to do something about the cel, its bmw tunes are still new to me and there more complex than my old SR20DET nissan

Well I payed 200 for the dme yo get unlocked from srr I think the flash from mhd was 200 and there stage 2+ was like 80 or so. Check engine delete was like 85 with down pipe was some where around 275. Really happy with the mhd flash. You dont need a cel delete if you only flash. Cel delete is only necessary if you run a catless down pipe. Hope this helps

Id like to run the catless, ive seen a number of ways to get around it, spark plug defouler trick, coding it out with a flash or the hard wired one that gets woven/spliced into the connectors that you adjust till the CEL goes out. now my question is if i did run a catless, can the MDH take care of that or is it best to have the other options, we do a inspection here in MA but they dont probe the tailpipe.
can you send a link to ssr? what was your turnaround for the flash

Ssr performance.com really only took a day in and out. They are really fast. I would splice in the cel delete that vrsf sells seems to work so far. Not sure if the mhd flash would take care of cel. So I just wired it in anyway. Had the cel delete wired before I flashed it.

Sorry i got my wires crossed, when you do the bench tune to omit the dme can it be flashed to ignore the CEL, or is there no real way to get around it if your running catless DP's? And if you get a bench tune is getting a jb4 kinda pointless?

Sorry u dont bench tune the dme u have to get it unlocked first. That's where ssr comes in next flash the ecu computer with a custom tune from mhd or jb4 aslo mootbot3 makes tune but pricey. As far as the cel delete not sure if the flash tune will take care of take? That's why I went with the cel delete mod from vrsf.

Ive got the vrsf down pipe next would be the charge pipe, it sounds pretty good with the exhaust valve open on the passenger side, but as much as i want a Meisterschaft exhaust im having a hard time pulling that trigger, Bmf, you stated in other posts that you cored you muffler what exactly did they do and did you find a independent exhaust shop ?

Been awhile but lots has happened, as it stands MHD has by passed the bench unlock, currently running stage 2 on 93 map, installed down pipe and had a custom rear section fabricated using only Magna flow resanators, subdued but sounds nice gotten a few comps on it. Got the vrsf charge pipe, car now runs good but still have that cell due to the DP, and having a white x6 I'm always cleaning the carbon off.
