I buy M style footrest for My X6, But I can not remove original one to change

I buy M style footrest for My X6, But I can not remove original one to change
Any body can help me??

From what I've read the footrest is glued to carpet. to remove you need to pry it off and you can end up damaging the rug underneath.

I think you got the wrong one. You need to get the one that comes with a 100k X6M attatched to it. It's easier to install.
