Z4 CIC in E70? What is the difference?
The reason I ask is that I have the old CCC system (DVD) in my 2009 X5 and I like tu upgrade to the CIC (Hardrive) system installed after 2009 in the X5
The problem with all the retrofit is that the euro-spec CIC units from bimeretrofit are all EURO version without HD radio (no free Radio anymore) I found an US version of the CIC with Sirius and HD radio but from an E89 Z4. The look and size is the same and the front cover can be replaced with an E70 one. The question is if that would work in an E70. The unit seems to be the same and the only part I can think of is the help file in the unit maybe showing a Z4 and not an X5. What would be the difference? Does anyone know and could give me some advise? |
