Black rims
I wanna paint my rims. Body shop recommended gloss black. I really wanted matte black. Which finish is better gloss black or matte black? My X5 Monaco blue.

Depends on what theme you have on the car? If you have gloss window trim, I recommend doing gloss black wheels and gloss black grills to match. If you go with matte, match the rest of the car to that finish.

I like flat, but given that brake dust is inevitable I suspect that gloss will be easier to clean.

Not a fan of black rims, unless you're going to go full on aggressive with a Vorsteiner type hood and a kit.
