iPod and Album display

Just picked up a new X6. When playing my Nano though the Y-cable USB/Aux it gives me the track name and artist and seems to have a default graphic for the album cover. Should it be pulling though the album cover from my Nano and if so any suggestions as to why mine isn't.

What model year is your X6? My understanding is that the versions that support album art display don't use the Y cable, instead just using the standard white apple USB to Dock Connector cable...
