LOL! Well I'll rephrase. The black 437's look very good with Austin Yellow (...and Sahkir Orange to a lesser degree). I don't like silver with AY.

Maybe I'm a little older now and don't care for the blacked out look anymore.

Wow absolutely crazy, I love how bmw underrates their engines. It's almost as if you are always getting more than you paid for haha.

I've never liked black wheels, ever. Ferric gray hell yes, black no. When I saw the M3 and M4 at an auto show there were no comparison the black looked much better to me and while I liked the M4 ( YMB ) the M3 ( AY ) looked a lot better.

Fast forward and now when I've seen both cars outdoors in natural light, AW M4 and SB M3 I'm not so sure any more. The black wheels looked a bit cheap as black wheels usually do and the M4 looked better than the M3... Presentation as ligthing and color choice play a huge role. Still I did not change my order to silver wheels, I want a lot of change and the black wheels still look nice and more "modern" if not as classy IMO. In the pix in this thread it's a draw to me but pix are seldom a good representation of real life and that goes for MW vs AW as well.

Does this come from the OBD port, or do you have your own thermometer in there somewhere correlated with rpm?

Cheers.

Data is captured via OBD2 by the Dynojet's datalogger.
