Nice upgrade...how are you "pushing as much bhp as a standard 335"?

What is your plan for the rear? What caliper and what rotor?
How will you solve the rear hand rake issue of a large rotor form the 335i?

Will you use custom made hand brake shoes?

For his power, im sure hes running DISA & Tune getting nice 265+ #'s

Well that is the reason I havnt attempted the rear yet lol. I may use the rear hubs from a 335 as they are fairly cheap from breakers and they will most likely come with callipers etc. It may just be a matter of changing the shoes but I'll look more into it closer the time.

I have fitted the 3 stage manifold from 330I and loaded the mosselmon tune onto the ecu then I have verious other mods with a fine tune remap on top giving me 286bhp at the flywheel. If I was to compare power to weight ratio with a 335I I might just be on par.

Why no explain how? I have no turbo lag no wieght of turbos, no weight of intercooler, no weight of oil cooler, lieghter gearbox, less intake componants, full exhaust system is lighter and other little things that all add up. so I'm only 14bhp down on a stock 335i so it's not far off at all. I'm sorry but you would need to enlighten me a bit on your immature response to my post.

I think you're forgetting that the 335i is significantly underrated from the factory, they typically put down close to 300WHP stock. Its ricer math until you get on a dyno.

Nice brake mod. Power mods sound good as well. Fair play for exploring the potential of the 325

Did you do the brake lines yourself? How easy is the bleeding?

Thanks Gaza and yes I did. Bleeding was very easy to be honest, the only hard part was listening to me girlfriend keep going on about how her leg hurt from pumping the pedal lol.

top hp means nothing... it is all about the power delivery and hp/tq curve... does your N52 makes +300 ft-lb of torque at 3000rpms? Doubt it

A stock 335I doesn't make 300+ torque at 3000rpm but my n53 does make around 260 at 3000rpm

Not my print out as I don't have a scanner but from mosselmon who supplied me with my first tune before I had it fine tuned.

Stock 335I:

No offense but That dyno is probably seriously flawed. With the mods you have (which a hudred other people on this forum have), there's no way you're anywhere close to 280+ hp. That dyno shows almost a 50hp increase from the tune which I highly doubt is accurate

Either way... Nice increase and I'm
Sure it's fun to drive!

Btw - in the legend of that dyno, the torque is measured in Nm which is about 250 ftlb. Oh, and good job on the brake conversion.

It isn't just a remap on a 325i I have changed the inlet manifold, air intake and full exhaust system plus lightened flywheel to help drive train loss. After changing the manifold and putting the 330I program on the ecu it Is very achievable. To be fair mosselmons dyno sheet isn't all that different to my one also mosselmon are a very professional company and take what they do very seriously like most German companies so they wouldn't have "flawed" dyno readings.

Get your car dyno'd at a Dyno Jet. Until then, all these claims are baseless and pointless.
