bmw x6 in autoweek

saw an article about it in autoweek. apparently they are predicting 2 variants. one with the 4.4L twin0turbo V8. the other with the currrent 335 engine.

base price will be 60k according to them. i hope they are right, should be a sweet deal.

anybody else get to read it?

Pshh that's not a good deal at all!

The car will start at a few grand more than the X5.

In the UK BMW already announced that the X6 xDrive35i will cost 42k pounds while the X5 3.0si starts at 39k pounds.

Actually the X6 comes to the UK at exactly the same price as the X5. (Bear in mind that the X6 comes with Nevada Leather as standard, which is a £1500 option in the equivalent X5)

DPC and both turbo engines will become standard on the X5 within a year or two.
