Talking X6 Lowered H&R Springs

Got it done yesterday, 1/2" front and 1" rear setup. Got about 2" clearance all around.

First 2 are before pics, rest are after the drop. 10mm front and 20mm rear spacers will be put on next week along with an alignment.

It looks much better. How is the ride? I'm thinking of doing the same.

Thanks! The ride isnt that much different, albeit slightly stiffer when going over rough roads or bumps etc. Its very tolerable in my opinion, no bouncy ride or anything like that.

Looking good with the drop. Please post a picture after fitting your spacers as i'm thinking of doing 12mm front and 15mm rear.

Enjoy your ride!

Hi,

Looks great.

I`m thinking of identical H&R drop, but running factory 20" rims...would a 12mm spacer up front and 20mm spacer at the rear be too much ? ..cant seem to find a 10mm spacer for up front ?

I got 10mm H&R spacers in the front. im running 295 and 335 tires and with 10mm front and 20mm rear, it looks much more aggressive. The tire is pretty much flush with the fenders. I'll take some pics so you can get a better idea of what yours will look like.

Looks sick! How do you have the bump in the hood though? I thought that only came on the 13' X6M? Am I mistaken and its available on all 13' X6's? (I see now it was available on your activehybrid model...). Lucky you!!!

yup on the hybrid the electronic control box is on top of the motor so that bump has to be there. Plus side, it looks super cool, down side, nobody but bmw will even attempt to remove it so i can have my downpipes installed lol

Here are some shots with the spacers installed

20mm rear and 10mm fronts. As you can see, the tires are pretty much flush with the fenders both front and rear. I think it turned out pretty nice!
