Price check help

Looking to get into an E70 X5.

Wondering if I could get some help with prices.

Looking at a 2013 X5 xdrive35i M Sport with all the packages except Tech, premium sound and cold weather pkg. 70k miles. Their bottom line price is $26,300.

They also noted the rear hatch was not working with the buttons but they would fix it before I took possession.

What do you guys think?

Seems too high for me because of miles and engine size, have you looked at similarly optioned trucks? I swear I've seen 50i's with 20k fewer miles around that price.

I agree price is a little high for the miles and options. I wouldn't compare 50i prices though as those are just time bombs and generally plagued with issues. I think this has played a role in the 50i having experienced a steeper drop in depreciation.

Exactly. No way I'd consider a used 50. BMW does not have a track record of producing reliable v8s. As said, there is an obvious reason why the 50s have depreciated so quick. 35i is the logical choice for reliability.

Thanks guys. Dealer ended up raising the price $700 more and I said no thanks. Found one in IL for $20k that's a 2012 35i M sport pkg. with 79k miles. So all worked out.
