X6M issues Help

i am trying to help a friend with his e71 X6m

Mods:

downpipes: autowerke catless
Tune: epic chip

he is getting this codes

2B1B: combustion misfires cylinder 6
2B1d: combustion misfires cylinder 8
2B23: misfiring
2ABF: charging pressure sensor 2, plausibility, after run
2ABC: boost- pressure sensor electric

his x6m barely runs do to the misfires, any input on what it could be? thanks

My guesses...bad injectors, vacuum leak and/or needs to go one step colder on plugs due to having a tune. Search feature is your friend, these issues are nothing new and have already been discussed. You'll resolve this much quicker doing your own homework vs posting and then waiting for us to do it for you.

trust me if i could find it i would not be posting it, i do appreciate the info man, i think its his injectors since those years have many issues with them.

pull the spark plugs from cyl 6 and 8, if they smell like gas then its a leaky\bad injector, could be as simple as bad coils or plugs, swap the coils from 6 and 8 to other cyl's and see if the misfires fallow them.

thank you, i will have him try that, he took the x6 to the dealer and u can imagine, they want the oem cats on before doing anything else

Tell him to try a different dealer. I have taken both my X's to the dealer for work with the stock cats removed.

Any updates? I was getting some of the same codes...if you clear them and the truck still runs like shit on cold idle, it's safe to say the injectors are shot as that's whathappened to me. The boost pressure sensor code and Reduced Power Warning on the iDrive stopped when I deleted the vacuum line running from the passenger fender to the rear exhaust valves.

cold start is fine, now cylinder 5 is misfiring, so 5,6,8 are misfiring, i made an appointment with a good mechanic on the 5th next month

Pull the plugs and move the coil packs and reset the codes before doing so...it'll take 30 min and you can save yourself $100+ per hour shop rate.
