How will that affect structural integrity, especially in a roll-over type accident?

If you get the x5M to roll over all I can say is wow!!! The plus side is you wouldn't be covered in glass either!

With all that glass and the motors I'm sure that would shed some top heavy weight. However, if IND is doing it and based on the cost of the roof itself that will be the decision maker for a lot of us.

Removing the roof on an E90 M3 and putting CF roof on is one thing. Doing it for an X5M is an awesome thought and i am sure if love it. Just will come down to what it would cost

Is it "your" accident or "her" accident?

Poor girl didn't stand a chance. This is what happens at 65MPH when a taxi cab pit maneuvers you, sliding onto the shoulder, into a ditch and bouncing off the sound wall on the freeway. Bastard never even stopped.

I too would love to see one, but use the pano roof all the time, so would not do it to my car.
It's one thing doing this mod on an E46M3, but one the X5 it's a different story.
And then you need to find a headliner.
I believe all X5's in the US came with the pano roof as standard so finding a matching headliner may be an issue...

The inside would change also FYI. They would fix the headliner, you wouldnt know that you had a pano roof.
