20x9 et 20 to aggressive for a x5 35i? With wider fender flares?

et20 off set is too shallow ... you need et 35 to 40.

If you plan on using the staggered tire set: the 275/40 tire will work but the 315/35 tire will fit poorly on a 9" wide rim and may roll ...

If you're going to use a square set, stay with 275/40 or 275/45 tires all around.

actually 20 offset push the wheel further out that mean more aggressive even without spacers
