Spacer = Safe or No Safe?

Hi everyone,

I just put today 12mm front H&R spacers, and 20mm rear H&R spacers. I'm really happy and love the look of my X5 with spacer... wow more agressive looking!

I just want to know if the bearing will be used faster? and what another negatif points can I have with spacer?

Thank you!

I am running 15mm up front and 20mm in the rear. Spacers are fine and any bearing wear is minimal. The bearings on the X5 are very heavy duty.

Alright for the bearing,

and what about the speed and the drive?

Can I drive the X5 like if I don't have spacer?

20 and 30 here no problem whatsoever. Don't worry you be fine as long as they are good quality spacers, H&R no cheapo spacers

15mm front & 20mm rear for 2 years now, not a single problem at all. H&R's here also.

If I did my calculations correctly, I am getting a static bearing reaction force increase of 3% on the rear bearing which I don't believe should have any impact on bearing wear.

Quick question for clarification: You're running 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers with the OEM 275's up front and the 315's on the rear?

Cuz I'd like to do that, but wasn't sure if it would be ok.

TIA

Yes, I have the same setup with the 275s and 315s. Works great.
