Will they fit? 285/40r22 and 325/35r22 fit e71 x6

Guys, If you are running on 22" rims
Will the 285/40r22 (Front) and 325/35r22 (rear) tire setup fit E71 X6?
*same tire sizes used on the new Mercedes GLE coupe

cause the usual 295/30r22 front and 335/25r22 rear is a bit too thin and the rims can easily be damaged by potholes.

Did you ever find out if this size tire would fit? I have the same concerns.

no, not yet cause no one was replying here, but most probably it wont cause if I remember correctly I've read a post before, max size for a 22 inch rim is 285/35r22 or 265/40r22 for the fronts. 285/40r22 might be too tall for X6.

I'm almost 100% positive that the tire sizes mentioned will fit. "If" I recall correctly, it's part of the sport package. I can confirm this only when I'm back down in FL December 22nd, which is where our truck is.

EDIT: On Tire Rack, they list 275/40R20 and 315/40R20 as the tires on the Sport package, so I may be wrong.

The "M" has 285/35R21 & 325/40R21

M has 285/35/21 and 325/30/21

285/40r22 and 325/35r22 are tires used on Mercedes GLE Coupe
but they seem to be alot bigger compared to 325/30/21. approx. 2.3 inches taller

I can say that 285/40/22 on a 22" rim with 40mm offset will NOT fit-even with a 12.5mm spacer.

I am ordering 20mm spacers in the hope that they fit...if not, ill have a set of 285 and 325 up for sale soon.

Has anyone used a 20mm spacer to clear a 285/40/22?

Thanks in advance!
