If I had an extra 10-15K this would have been sweet! midnight blue 50i with M-sport.

This picture is very encouraging. You could see how the sun would bring out the greenish blue. You are a hawk!

I love the m-sport but two things stopped me from getting it:
1) I want the all weather tires for nYc winter, and we will have a child on board
2) I prefer the chrome trim to the black shadowline exterior... though not as much as steve j on this thread:

Oddly enough.. the only reason I went from the 35i to the 50i was for the chrome trim... not the sound on start up, acceleration, or HP.. It felt funny even typing that.. none the less... I have a feeling I will enjoy the HP a tiny bit.

Awesome! Performance delivery exceeded our expectations. Midnight blue is what I wanted. It can look blue, black, green or teal depending on lighting.

These were taken with the iphone. Hope to have some better ones by the weekend for you.

Congrats... I am still hoping for a bit more green in the sun... So many Blacks and Whites, that I am hoping the Green tinge makes the car look more unique... + the Chrome accents on the 50i.
My vehicle "Production is complete and waiting for release to the carrier." though the website still says Stage 1: in Production.

How does the AS feel? Notice anything different (assuming this is your first car with it?)

Actually, mine did not get the free AS. Did not realize it was a no cost option for 2013. Most of my selections were in place before the 2013 ordering came online. If I were to reorder, I would get AS and the soft close doors.

But I do love my X6!

Did I say I love the color? No photo can capture it just right as the lighting and angles pick up shadow and light so dramatically. I tried again today to get a photo on my iphone because the sun is bright and it looked so good, but it always photographs darker than it is. That may be whiy the BMW literature is lightened, but I don't think it is quite that light. I have never seen a paint job like it and it is the number one thing it has gotten complements on since I got it!

When we take our good camera out with it for a photo shoot I'll try to get great pictures.

Why are they different? I am not in a huge rush... but all this talk and websurfing.. well, you know. I won't be back in the country until the 28th anyway, but trying to organize a surprise for when we pick up. Conflicting info is not helping.

X6 Photo/Video/Audio Gallery has more pictures of my car. The one that you will be interested in is this one (attached). The color looks lighter the closer you get. In a photo it is really difficult to get the light to reflect evenly to get maximum color. That being said, I have yet to see it look as light as the BMW promotional images though. Love it. Would love the get a hamaan style rear deck spoiler and a Dinan stage 2.

I will post some with the interior too. I just have not yet: I think because I still had my heart set on the Ivory and I ended up with my initial pick of the sand beige and dark bamboo.

The website information is always about two days behind what you get calling the 1-800 BMW customer service number.

These colors are incredible. I don't think you can configure the same car in the US. Matt Bronze finish... (I think that is what he said)..

Macd - keep the pictures coming! They have so many cool options over there that we don't get. Also, I would swear that is like a deep sea blue or lemans blue in that swatch. Doesn't look at all like LoveMyX6's midnight.

Re the Swatch... you cannot tell the difference if you only look at the picture i sent. Have a look at this in order Monaco, Deep Sea, Midnight & Azurite Black:

I still was blown away by the Frozen Bronze.. Checked the bmwusa configurator... I was able to recreate this interior & exterior for the 640i Grand Coupe... something to think about for the future (smile)... my car is two weeks away from pickup!

One of two x6 that I have seen in Berlin. The other was a Matted finish Black.
Noticed that there isn't a 35 or 50 on the car.. maybe its one size fits all?

BTW... I've seen at least 3 Ferraris, Several Bentleys.. and many Mercedes, BMWs Audis & Porches... just not many x6s... and there are a good amount of SUVs. Either the German's think its too ugly/impractical or the ride is pretty exclusive.

Also not many Lexus Cars either....
