X5 E70 CCC CarPlay retrofit black screen

Fitted an IDCore CCC CarPlay kit but the display unit isn’t working at all - the display is black.

Even with the display connected directly to the CCC unit (Ie not going via the LVDS adaptor), if the main quad lock piggyback harness is plugged in I get nothing, but if I unplug it and go direct from the car loom it’s fine.

Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?

I'd start with checking continuity on all the piggy back connections for the screen. Sounds like something in there is not quite right.

Do you have any pointers or a pin out?

Shoot.. CCC uses a completely different connector than the CIC. I'm not sure what the internal wiring looks like. Is it accessible enough to use a multimeter on individual pins?

You may have to contact the manufacturer for that. You can also look at the stock connector and make yourself a pin out based on what you see if it's accessible.
