The car had a 1" H&R lowering setup. BBS makes these as a specific fitment for the X5M but is fairly conservative on how flush they are. The spacers brought the wheels out to a much better looking, more flush stance.

Zero fender rubbing. Overall ride quality was a touch stiffer due to the springs. On extremely hard bumps at highway speeds, it seemed as though the rear air suspension was close to bottoming out.

I love the wheel design itself, but really think the "Frozen Grey-ish" color really made them stand out. I looks very similar to some of the frozen colors BMW has. The fact that they are TUV safety rated for use on heavy suvs was also a selling point for me. None of the other specific fitment wheels i found for the X5M's were TUV rated.

like a glove - but the hub bore is likely smaller unless he was running hub rings. It's not expensive to have those machined out to 74.1mm though.

Both hub bores front and rear are 74.1mm. If you have an early x5m, you can use adapters to get them to 72.6 i think is what it is.

No damage on the rims and the tires have >9/32" with less than 1500 miles on them.

Do you have any profile pictures of them on your X5?
I would like to see the depth of the faces from the side.

Thanks
