My pleasure.
The circled numbers in each picture correspond to the fasteners used on each part. Note that only one reference is included for each type of fastener and NOT for each location! The fasteners are shown at the right edge of each picture relevant to the parts depicted.

Just looking at the pictures (haven't looked at the actual parts list), #14 and #15 appear to be aluminum rivets. If that's the case, you will have to drill them out (simple to do, have you done that before?) and replace them with the same size and length later when you want to re-install the parts. #7 appears to be a plastic cover and #11 appear to be plastic fastener.

Thanks xDrive,
now if i could just find a replacement for the running boards that would cover up whatever it is that they cover. We just had bunch of rain and my wife complains that it gets the back of her pants dirty. " it would be great if they were even with the car". I don't think you can just take them off as it looks like the trim from the wheels molds/fits into these and would look funny. |

When I still had my X6 on order, I had compared the non-running board version to the running board version and had decided on the non-running board version. Although there isn't much of a difference. If you look at the non-running board version, it still sticks out a few inches, maybe not quite as much, but the trim does stick out further than the door! Here is an image I had generated based on all the options and configuration I had on order: Unfortunately, the xbimmers server downsizes large images a bit. I have it at 1920x1200 for my desktop. If anybody is interested, I have a 360 deg view (all angles) of the car.

At the moment the car is still scheduled for week 18 production. Since it is an individual composition, they apparently only start the production for individual models sometime mid of April. So another 4 weeks for the production and then the long wait to get the car shipped from Germany ...
If everything goes well, I should have it in about 10 weeks...
