Getting a BMW Discount on X6
I dont currently like the X6 I have because when I bought it I was told a lot of things that now I find out can not happen.
I have looked at another one for trade but cant get a discount on a new one. Does anyone get a BMW discount? You know like GM and Ford plans? I notice BMW is not offering any discounts on X6's. |

Very different story here in the UK, I bought my X35d last year and got 12% discount. I have recently heard that discounts of 15% are now achievable.
Cars are not selling here in the UK as the economic crisis deepens. |

ok I'll have to bite on this.. you don't like the X6 you have but you're going to buy another one. As far as I know the only thing the 09 models have over 08 is $3k more, no spare(USA), maybe new idrive (not looking to start that controversy again) and leather dash option. |

No spare either. Got about 1.500 Euros discount which I spent on differences between exchange rates to pay for the car in local currency. So zero discount after all.
Deda, those grey rims where a bonus or you payed extra? |

If you can drive away from Dallas, why don't you try the dealership in Austin. |

The ability for a dealer to offer discounts is based on supply and demand.
If you live in an area hit by the economy moreso than others, everything is being discounted. So yes you can get a truck cheaper, but in your area it will also depreciate faster. It is a catch 22.
