I presume you'll be getting them fitted over here? If so in UK you need to show your vehicle registration document and form of ID, but probably best to contact the dealer you get them made up at before turning up to get them done.

I think the question was about fitting wider plates, which shouldn't be an issue since the opening at the back is sufficient, so it's just a matter of getting mounting brackets, from a dealer or aftermarket.
