Chopped Them Off.....

The resonators in the stock exhaust system, that is lol.....exhaust tone is louder, deeper and shift farts are audible now from inside.

You will gain some interior rumble, which is the way they should come from the factory

Cut and weld in straight pipes? The resonators heavy? I read about this a few times I guess they don't make a performance difference at all but some have mentioned just a little deeper exhaust note. I want to do this along with the megan exhaust im just nervous it will leave a loud drone in my cabin. This is my DD as well as the vehicle I use to drive around clients... don't want to make a bad impression.

Curious to hear how this sounds. I'm contemplating a muffler delete, but hadn't considered the resonators. I'd like for it to sound loud and aggressive without sounding crappy or droning inside the car too terribly much.

I have a catback and its sorda droney inside now....i like it. Clients definitely can hear it too so drive in regular D mode and keep the rpm's down.

Krishorton....dont worry go for any catback setup! No matter what we do, these trucks will never sound as loud as a ford or chevy with 2 chamber flows

If you remove the resonators and replace them with straight pipes, there is any need of recoding the car?

No need to re-code with resonators removed unless it is the downpipes.
