Why not? I am pretty fickle when it comes to my cars and I know that I like to change things up ever so often. Wrapping is a great solution. It is a way to experiment with an alternate color while you protect the original paint underneath to reveal later!
For me, I was really torn between Monte Carlo Blue and Space Gray when I bought My X5M, so this is what I am considering: |

Lol no thanks I was in the same boat as you looking for black or white exterior with either cinnamon or red interior and was just wondering if you happened to pick up the carbon black one from auto planet that I saw when I was shopping for a x5m. I ended up also getting one privately, its a one owner 2013 alpine white with red interior with 47km and every bell and whistle possible a few weeks ago with extended bmw warranty till 2019, she's a beauty. Most likely going to throw some 22" HREs on sooner than later and paint/powdercoat the callipers red.

haha nope definetely not but I was looking for about 6 months and most the ones I was interested in were out west but too much hassle I've been down the route when I bought my LSB on LSB e46 m3 vert a few years ago and wanted to stay within 500km limit, ended up buying mine In Quebec from an M enthusiast who garage kept it and had never been winter driven until now. Got it rust proofed and bought some weather tech matts and new toyo observe winter tires and she's unstoppable in the snow. I Will post some pics up soon its hard to keep the car clean at this time of year

just got back from the body shop to get rid of some imperfections. took off the lip to make it brand new again.. if I don't get a trade for the lip ill put it back later. right now im really feeling the stock no lip look.
so up next ... hmm the body shop acutally waxed and cleaned my car ... ill have to check the paint on a nicer day... maybe I don't need a paint correction.... up next is prob tint match and front windshield tint. Last edited by Dchl21; 01-29-2016 at 01:18 AM.. |
