Suspension question?

I have been having issues with my 2011 x5. While pulling out with wheels turned I get a chattering noise as if I have a worn bushing. I had both thrust control arms replaced and also both sway bar end links and it still does it. I also had my transfer case oil changed. I noticed play in both left and right lower control arm bushings where the strut is mounted. I could twist the strut arm and there was enough play that the strut and spring moved. Is this normal?
