BMW m performance exhaust question

Hey guys I have been on the fence about getting the BMW performance exhaust and loved the way it sounded on my n55 powered 135is dual clutch trans, it just blipped and sounded sweet,

Anybody have any experience with the e70 variant and or should I just golf tee the stock exhaust?

Just wondering if it's worth it or not.

Thanks to all...

My suggestion golf tee the exhaust. That's what I did and the obvious it's WAY cheaper.

I first started with a muffler delete and within 24 hours I added back the stock muffler. Then I did the golf tee mod and it sounds sweet.

As a purchaser and installer of a Megan muffler ... Holy Santa Clause Shyt!

You want to hear the turbos and not sound like an 80's 1/4 Ton Chevy? This setup totally gets it done. The next step in my exhaust transformation will be the purchase and delivery of vacuum actuators and turndowns so that when I enter M-mode it goes turbo to atmosphere unmuffled, but allows me to select that via button.

The golf tee is acceptable and likeable... going Megan is a whole other level IMO.

eBay'd for $350 - Something to consider.

Disconnect the vacuum line that closes the exhaust valve (at idle and low acceleration) and seal the line tube (hence the golf tee name). The result is having open exhaust valves all the time.

It's on the right side of the car at the rear. You can use metal rope/wire and just leave the flap open all the time. Sounds good.

We have a ton of success with our Supercup Exhaust. Not only does it sound incredible but the new tips also bring an aggressive styling to the rear end. Check it out below and PM me with any more details you may be interested in!

I've only got the 35i N55 engine.

That's why I was looking at the M performance muffler as our options are light for the non M.

Ziptie the valve open helps with the sound. There also is a slight drone at low rpms if you can live with that. I couldn't so I cut the ziptie.

I believe Megan Racing makes an exhaust for the N55 and it's pretty cheap. Don't know what it sounds like in person but seems decent from the video clips on youtube.
